View Full Version : CS:Biped limbs editing
javierdl 03-23-2003, 01:46 AM I was able to easily move each arm slightly offwards (away from the body). However I cannot do the same for the thighs. They seem to be more than just linked to the pelvis, they are more like attached to it.
Is there a safe way to separate them and move them?
Thanks,

Not afaik. I you want to move the legs wider apart, you can scale the pelvis along the x-axis in figue mode. To move them up/down/back/forward, move the lower spine bone instead.
If you want to have the arms wider apart, I also think it's better to scale the clavice objects along the x-axis instead of moving them.

Thanks Anders :)
I have another problem though:
The position of some limbs don't quite match the initial position of my mesh/skin, so I have tried to adapt the limbs around, only using "rotate", while in Figure Mode. However, once I get out of Figure Mode the limbs go back to their original position! :(
Why is this?

Finally found how to!
Forget about the Figure Mode button, the limbs adjustments simply need to be done while the "Auto Key" button is on ;)
That did it for me anyway.
Thanks.
