Funny you should say that. I emailed Alex Alvarez, and asked him if they were ever going to do a MEL DVD. He was not sure at the time, but I asked for a two DVD set on it. So unless it's a coincidence, and just the two of us want it I think it's in demand. :applause:
But I was hoping for some more Modeling DVD's (character) out of these nine to go along with it. I know if you you want to stay working in 3D it's probably better to get real good at all the other aspects of it because modelers are a dime a dozen (if not more), but I've noticed that if my models stink I don't feel much like continuing on with my vision until I get it looking good by my standards. But that's just me.:wavey:

onlooker, I am the same as you, my modeling is a bit shakey at the best of times, I think that its best to download a free model off the web and animate it (crediting them of course) so while you practise modeling you can still learn the rest of the workflow. I'm looking forward to these new gnomon vids, should be good, surely not more dynamics ones?

heya...
well, can't say anything I'm afraid... too far away... I just wanted to get some news up on the Gnomon Workshop site so people would know that we haven't been lounging around doing nothing for the past couple months. :)
Happy to see the enthusiasm for new titles. I think this round is full of extremely valuable information... very much tips/technique oriented.
Plus I'm already looking forward to working on the next round (due in August).
