My First Matte Painting (Majesty Enthroned)

Hi welcome to the forums , well I see some issues in this first image you should think about

first is visual composition, I don´t find any other focal point than the strong lens flare you have there, I don't know if that's the sun or any other source of light but I find it a little off, try to add elements with the same light direction , I also suggest that you think on a concept, maybe a city or a fantasy landscape, try to be original in you ideas.

I was tring to go for something spritual. And i guess i need to think of other things that you mentioned. Will try to work on it. Any ideas where do i search for resources for matte paintings, pictures and stuff. Sometimes i am on a dateline and do some quick stuff and use that as a background, but think i need to work harder on it.

What do you do on a time constraint? I do the modelling, texturing, and a whole lot of stuff, so i guess i find hard sometimes to spare the time.
