This was a personal piece I did just for fun. Its my take on John Singer Sargent's masterpiece Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose. Sargent is known for his technical mastery of painting and figures, but I felt more emotionally drawn to this than to his other pieces. There's something there that he tried to capture that just works for me. So when I was doing this piece, I tried to take a different approch than usual. Other influences included Yoshitaka Amano, and Faye Wong. I'd like to hear if this worked for you guys or not. C&C are welcome as always!
