View Full Version : Help for animation looping
loden 03-22-2003, 11:49 PM Hi!
Is there a way to create an automatic rotation of a cube around its pivot with a progressive acceleration using a script?
I don't know anything about scripts, so I ask because I need to do this in a short time and the "copy and paste key" way is really an headache!
Thanks!

Of course it is possible.. But I don't know any script and I don't have the energy right now to write such script. :]

I do not know why you would want to use a script here, as MAX allows this with the in- and out-settings of keys. You can do this with two keys, so no script is needed.

Thanks!
I'm not an expert of Max, in animation I still suck:thumbsdow
The in-out setting is good, but I think I need an in-out of the entire curve...in LW there is a pre/post behaviour of a curve that is different from the in-out settings of the single key. I'm sure Max has the same function...I don't now where...Maybe under a controller...?
Anyway I figured out I can do the same things with the "stretch time" function in After effects, rendering only a single rotation in max; in this way I'm quite happy now!
Thanks a lot!
