Just thought Id share, I endered the color value for Blenders viewport background in Wings and I think it really gives a lot of depth and clarity. The parameters are:
H .0
S .0
V .45

That was one of the first colors that I changed when I started using wings.

For MacOSX style menus use RGB (0.0, 0.45, 0.9) for the menu highlight.
