Is this possible? Since COFFEE documentation is only available for 9.5, I wasn't sure this was supported.

I'd like to get all layer information (name, visible state, render state, generator state, etc.) to save as an external text file that can later be recalled.

To the best of my knowledge the layer browser functionality and data can not be access via COFFEE.
However, you might like to ask this kind of questions on the plugincafe. It is focuse don supporting the use of C++ and COFFEE with CINEMA 4D.
