As I am creating my objects inside Modeler, is there a way to measure the scale of each object?

For example, I will be creating human characters, objects like altars, tabernacles, candles, walls, tables..... If I wanted to make the human character 6 feet tall and the table 4 feet tall, how would I do this in proper scale?

Thank you.

Try using the measure tool.

You can always use the grid for basic measuring, just look at the lower-right-hand info box, check the size of the grid and you can see how big your objects are (roughly).

The measure tool to me is kind of disappointing. I would like the ability to measure between points, and between polys. I hear alot about LW being a physically accurate modeler, but if you need exact measurements, you're kind of on your own. I have yet to see a decent plugin that allows accurate architectural measurements (I know, I know, "make it the right size to begin with", but that's not always possible after multiple bevelling, smooth-shifting, etc.).

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping there was Ruler options that you can enable, kind of the same way Microsoft Word has a ruler.

I sometimes create a reference image that I load into the background that shows the relative scales of things to other things. You could also do a similar thing with a "ruler: object
