Great. I think this is a great opportunity to fulfil my idea about paperless project for a short animation. So here I am....

...the stages of work on a paperless project should be as follows...

1. Get an idea what the story should goes about.
2. Writing down the story, with the details in it.
3. Concept art for the characters and the environment based on the writings.
4. StoryBoard (digitaly painted) based on the concept (I think there is a possibility both the concept work and the storyboarding going parallel in time).
5. 3D character building...with all modeling, texturing, rigging (the toughest part in the whole process) and animation work in it.
6. Environment work.
7. Compositing.
8. Editing the scenes sequence...

...that's it...the most important thing in such initiative is the organization of the work, and I think folowing the steps above is a good start of the whole process...

....and now I start brainstorming.

When nature rises on the streets

The concept

The Idea of the story is to show the human attitude towards the green part of our nature. I mean that the development of our society harms not only the environment but us, people as well. I think it is not so difficult to do things in our lives considering the needs of our environment.

The story

It is all about a naked female covered with tree leafs in places of her body. She is coming out of a narrow street on a wide boulevard. When she steps on the boulevard she causes some car crashes and the result of that is traffic stop. She proceeds to the middle of the boulevard which makes the drivers go mad. Surrounded by the horns of the cars she screams madly making all the people around become quiet. Then she accelerates her hands in an attempt to hit the ground, and as she hits the road surface, it breaks…it becomes a little concave, and in between the cracks plants begin to grow. They grow fast and unfold rapidly, spreading above the cars on the boulevard and the neighboring streets, reaching the buildings and overgrowing them. From a bird’s eye view it can be noticed that the whole downtown is in green.

here I submit some quick drawings about the scene sequence in the animation...right now I'm not quite sure about the look of the second characters in the scenes, but i think that will come in time with the further work...

I think I must change the style little bit, and the story doesn't look like strange behavior enough....now I work on that changes....perhaps it would be more ease to me if someone post here opinion or something!

I just finished with modeling and add some quick colors to the skin...but what scares me a lot is the rigging, and it's still ahead.
