not a bad start, but i think it is a little too thick. especially the legs.

Good start....make his wings even bigger to support his weight....

Very nice start, Dragons are one of my favoriates, I think the upper boady, head and wings looks great, but the lower legs look less well formed they have a more human look too then where dragons are formed as if they quadrapedal.

Even a something like a horses rear leg would provide a better form I think e.g:

its looking very good though keep at it!

An interesting style you have chosen for your dragon :) And certainly not bad for 2 hours modelling!

I agree with Frank Dodd that you should work a little more on the shaping of your legs though - right now they look a little strange, and are not really convincing as being the kind of legs that you would find on a quadraped.

Yeah i agree with you guys i think you sud put some muscle into there as well although dragons can fly They would have big mucular legs and feet to be able to balence and to support their big mass? What do you think EvilE?

I didnt think that my Dragon should act like a quadruped i thought that he should walk like a biped and i wanted to Model some hands on the ends of the wings ( if i remember right the dragons in Reign of Fire looked also ) also ive done some little animation tests with the legs and in my opinion they work quite good as they are ( with some more muscles so that they can carry the whole dragon ) also i wanted to paint a lot of the missing detail into the bumpmaps and use the bump displacement feature of Lightwave so please tell me if there are any known problems with that way of working .

Thanks for all the c&c

Dam using bump displacement for the details is impossible cause bump displacement doesnt work with uv maps ( another one on my wishlist for Lightwave 8 ).

Sad but true

That's odd, I've used UV maps for displacement before.
Unless I just imagined that it worked :surprised

certainly not bad for 2 hours. 2 things to crit besides the before mentioned: the tail seems to thin/small imo and the lack of shoulder muscles. It would be quite impossible to move the wings without some sort of muscular structure in that area.
