CGTalk - fast_skin trouble

Hi there, I'm having trouble with my fast sss shader. I can't get the back scatter to show up on my character, but when I put it on a simple sphere, it shows up:

Both have the same fast_skin shader applied. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Check the normals on your character. They need to be facing outwards.
