hi,
just a quick sketch of what i have in mind. i was thinking of the idea of a strange abduction wherein the opposite of what we use to read and see is happening. i picture a human being as the abductor and the alien as the abductee. still a very rough concept though! i haven't seen all the entries yet so i'm not sure if this concept has already been submitted by another one.

just a quick sketch of my girl character. still undecided about her age though, whether i'll make her a baby of about 3 yrs old or someone around 7 yrs old, i still have to think first if i'm gonna push through with this abduction idea.

by the way, thanks to all of you who shared some comments on my work!!! goodluck to all of us!

hi!
its been a while since my last post. would like to say thanks to humadapnon and zethriel. i had time to come up with another concept coz i was not yet satisfied with my first one but i'm not sure if somebody else has thought of it. anyway here it is, my concept revolves on the idea of curiosity-electricity-stupidity...there's these two visitors from another planet and they are so amazed about the new finds they have been tinkering around inside a house until they accidentally come across electricity. would like to show some funny animation between the two and the result of their stupidity.

nice concept

altough the last verion of the aliens look much more funny, i kind of like the first design. I find it proportionally better.
curious to see more.

haha.. When I first saw the two aliens near the outlet, I thought of how funny it would be if they looked more like the 'face in the outlet' and thought the outlet was a new friend! Keep it up and good luck!

it's been a while since i posted here. was so busy with work and other stuffs lately.
i'm not even sure if i can meet the deadline on time. how i wish there'd be another week for overtime but that's just wishful thinking. anyway, i've done a few shots already and might as well give it a push till time runs out on me...here are my wips...

hi!

it's almost time now.
would like to thank everybody who shared their inputs on my work. didn't had the time to reply to most of it coz of my very busy schedule but i would like to say your comments are very much appreciated! these past few days, i had the time to look at some of the entries (though i wasn't able to comment on them online), i'm very pleased to see so much talent and beauty pouring out into the works!

i just wanted to show the environment where my story will revolve. i'm still trying to finish my entry right now. hope we all make it through the submission time!!!

i also like the lighting in the kitchen. looks really cool.

tnx r1-381!
ur right about the troublemaker perception! now i know that i've been successful
in the modeling and texturing part coz i intentionally wanted them to look as
naughty as can be but still be cute in a way.:)

hi!

it has been one heck of a wonderful journey for me with this strange behavior contest. i'm so thankful to all that shared their inputs on my entry! to my family, hernan, vince, sonny, nelson, mibus and especially marge...i could never have finished off this entry without your support.
thank you so much to GOD for lending me the skills in arts!!!

i wasn't able to give the storyboard because i didn't had the time to do one, though
it was clear in my mind all the shots and scenes that i wanted to show.

here's the synopsis of the story:

two very curious aliens came crashing into somebody's kitchen. one of them(NUT) came across a plug from a lamp. it caught his attention and he immediately played or should i say fooled with it. he was so amazed by the blinking on and off of the lamp as he pushes and pull the plug from the wall outlet. the other guy(CHOC) came by with his own set of spoils(a spoon, a radio antenna, and a tweeser). choc gives them to nut but nut didn't care to do anything with it. perplexed and envy of what nut was doing with the plug, choc took the tweeser and decided to do some antiques of his own without knowing the consequence that electricity has to offer.

they were electrified accidentally by the stunt choc started. surprisingly and in my case of opinion, strangely enough...instead of backing off from the shock they sustained, inspite of the health hazard they got, they wanted more of it and decided to be electrified again and again and again...strange coming from two more advanced beings than us humans. i guess the phrase "curiousity killed the cat" would be fitting enough for these two. in their case,"curiousity killed the stupids!"

hope you enjoy watching my entry...
would post a link later for a hi-res version of the file. and before i forget...i still need to finish the final image file. goodluck to all!!!!
