View Full Version : Animation: Walk Cycle
platypus 03-22-2003, 05:37 PM Hi folks... I'm working on my first ever walk cycle here. it's a very simple character, just trying to get the motion down.
i know that the arms need some work - but I do kinda like the way they make him look like he's strutting.

would love to hear any comments/crits.

i just downloaded it a let it loop
think it works well, seems round without any edges. also the "groovy" style comes out
just the body is boring
but u should know that:)
keep on truckin!

hmmm it seems a bit weird, the way he walks, the second foot is already moving b4 the first one is planted, giving the impression that hes sort of floating rather than walking, that second foot should be pinned to the ground untill the first one can hold the weight of the body, dunno if i make myself clear, maybe if u just move those back foot keyframes on or 2 keyframes farward will probably look much more natural straight away..
hope its been of any help..
