Just wondering if you guys have a quick and easy way to do this:

I have a typical symmetrical mesh and I'd like to select a vertex on one side of the mesh and then be able to find it's corresponding vert on the other. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi Jazz :)
Snap a locator to the vert, move it`s pivot on the center of the scene /that depends if your object is centered :)/ and scale it by -1 on the desired axis....
Can be scripted also..
Hope that helps

Marin.

That is possible with the abSymMesh script (http://www.highend3d.com/maya/downloads/mel_scripts/modeling/poly_tools/abSymMesh-2830.html)if I remember correctly
