View Full Version : Rendering in OpenEXR
Pretorian 07-03-2007, 11:09 PM Hello,
Wich plug can I use to render out in EXR format? On their web site, I can only find the source code.
How you are doing actually?
Thanks

If you are rendering with mental ray, just chose EXR format under Image File Output, image format.

Maybe it should be said that it will not work with viewport rendering - you'll have to use the batch render or standalone...

Right, thank you!
Btw, wich compositor are you using (both of you) to work with rendered EXR images, else Shake? Far as I know, After Effetcs only works till 16 bit. I imagine to work with Combustion but I din't use version 4. Do you know if it can hold EXR?
Thanks
