Great image, very nice color.
I have to agree with AJ.
Taller, fuller ears in a more vertical format image... but too much would pull attention away from the brush... probably being subjective.

Like the pose he has with the toothbrush. Looks like he loves it like a guitar loved by some kind of guitar... virtuoso.
All round cool! Only real crit is about the background. The ramp distorts the texture in a way that caught my eye. Handily though a vertical format might help with that too.
I'm sure your girlfriend loves him ;)
