Now i post a Tip.
A lot time i used programs to make textures.
In this case i made a wheatīs camp texture.

1.- create a simple texture for a wheat leaf mesh.
2.- import in vue6 into ecosystem2 paint system.
3.- paint leafs with wacom.
4.- set lighting and camera.
5.- Render.
6 .- Now i have a big texture with alpha to use in a simple 4 vertex polygon. (Clip map)

I hope you like this tip.

thx.

Hi Guilles,

render time = around 50s./1.27 minutes per frame...

render time are short because... i have a new machine ....(I take years to save the money....).

Hi Mark, thanks for your words.
animate backgrouns in Vue take some time. in some cases you use a simple mate generated with Vue. but some times you can change this. why?. Now i have a new machine... Macpro with a 1 minute aprox. per frame, you can made a lot of test.
for example take vue6 and load CERRO VERDE scene and change resolution to 800x600 macpro take only 1'30". belive me itīs a dream.... if you use a lot of cores in the same machine your workflow up speed.

That's an amazing, absolutely charming piece! You're an adult with childish thougts and the idea is completely superb. Both of your idea and the way you blend them, animating them are so qualified. I'm honest, I watch the animation again and again! From the beginning till the end and also the credits part are all a common in the concept. It's so cheerful! I hope you will be rewarded for this wonderful piece! Best of luck my friend!

Excellent. A great quality work here. Congrats for finishing. Specialy like the cartoony part.

A little question for me : Did you know if we could use such commercial music for our entry ? Reading the faq it seems that we'd need an authorization. So I didn't put mine to be careful but maybe have you more information than me ?

i was wondering how all that worked w/ other people's music, too. hopefully you can find a quick solution if that is a problem.
i like the final animation. everything moved by so quick, though....wish i could see more of the scenery....and those cool tractors you made. those things were great.
would have been funny to have that hedgehog sort unfold and come open after it got ran over....sorta like it was just made out of a box.
