hi everyone,
ok here is my first idea. Itīs a construction worker playing hopscotch. You can see him playing while everyone around him is busy and working.

hi again,
this is my second idea. You can see a "cute" monster in a shoe store.
I was thinking about a salesperson in the BG trying to find the shoe that fits.
So please let me know what you think. what Idea do you consider best ?

Hey Jennifer, nice sketches!! I think that the 2 ideas are really originals. Maybe I like more the monsters shoe store idea, because the fantasy and strange posibilities. But the workers playing hopscotch is an authentic strange behavior :D
Good luck and have a lot fun with this challenge ! :) Looking forward for more updates about your final idea.

Hey,
I love the idea with the shopping monster for its ultimate strangeness!
I also like your monster design. But for this purpose it seems to be a bit too fragile and "cute" in my opinion. What do you think about a really big and evil and ugly looking monster though? Big mouth, lots of long sharp teeths, psycho eyes, horns and spikes and slime everywhere?
Keep it coming!

ok here we go, next step. I made some sketches for the head of the monster, Iīm not quite sure which one works best.

ok and one more step. Thatīs the complete idea for the shoe store with the monster, looking for new shoes. I think I will try to get the monster a littel bit more nasty.
And of course the next step is to get some colour and some light in the store.
so 57 days left.....

ok next step. I changed the monster. Itīs now sitting on a kind of chair. So what do you think about it?

Hi, this is a fun idea. If I had to guess, I think maybe you are having difficulty with the pose of the alien?
I'm afraid I don't think the chair thing is working. The chair isn't obviously a chair, so it looks like the alien is stuck on a pole - this makes it look like it could be just a shop display. Also, as it isn't a normal chair, it means it was maybe designed for the alien - does this mean that the shop often serves aliens? If so, is that as strange as an alien going into a normal shoe shop?
I also much preferred the three-legged alien as this makes for funny problems. Are all the feet the same size? How does the shop sell three shoes? Does the alien wear all the same sort of shoe on all three feet? And does the third foot take a left or a right shoe?
I think you could easily put a three-legged alien astride a normal (human) chair, with say two symmetrical hind legs (one left and one right) going out to its side, with the third leg coming out to the front. Maybe an assistant could then hold a left shoe in one hand and a right shoe in the other with a confused look on their face.
Good luck :)

ok here we go next step. As you can see I changed the monster again. Itīs difficult to get it in thr right place on the right chair. ;-)
And yes the shop is getting crowded. One more asistant. So comments are very welcome.

@ Ordibble P. Lop: thank very much for your comment. Youīre completely right ,I really had some kind of fight with this monster / alien. My first idea was trying to get a three-legged monster just standing in the shop not knowing where to sit. Than I decided to let it sit on a chair, but I didnīt know why it didnīt work untill you said this "stuck on a pole " thing... But hey, I think I found a solution, what do you think ?
The idea with the assistant holding the shoes is really great.
My first idea was: the monster sitting in a hugh mountain of shoes still not happy at all, ( some might say, itīs typical for a woman :D ).
So thatīs it for now.
Please leave any comments.
