Really clever work. I'd love a wallpaper sized (1600x1200) version of the top render (sans signature, or at least not over the model). What toon renderer? Max's built in jobbie?

I love it...excellent work....that would make an excellent wallpaper

It's kewl. I got a question though, did you use a toon shader type of plug in, or incandence4snce angle, or what to create your effects?

That is a cool design :D. The modeling and render are also nice

That is impressive looking. Love the materials and render. The design absolutely rocks!! :buttrock:

Only critique I have is that the pontoons don't look like they would support it's weight. I imagine if this were a real machine that it would tip backwards and the prop would be in the water.

awesome modeling

how about some wireframes?

=redwing=

Very good illustration! :bounce:

I have just a couple of minor items to critique.

The propeller seems too big. It looks like it would actually hit the water. Also in the view where the boat is facing to the right, the prop looks like it might hit the turboprop exhaust.

The pontoons are at an angle. Looking at seaplanes, the pontoons are usually vertical.

The gun under the cockpit looks like it might pivot like on a helicopter. In that case, it would shoot the pontoons. That gun also looks like it might hit the water given its relationship to where the pontoons sit.

Very well detailed. Love the design. :bounce:

Wait.... HOLD THE PHONE! you mean to tell me that the world I live in ISN'T real?

Of course is not, didn't You know we are living in the Matrix? ;)

But seriously, I'd like to have miniature of this boat to place it on the top of my monitor ;)

Exceptionally beautiful renders - not to mention the tessellation (curvature-wise) of the design also
BTW - NURBS?

Awsome model and concept. I do have to agree with an earlier post about the sponsons. they should be vertical. I only noticed this because I design boats and build the 3D CAD data for tooling everyday.

Have a good one

Thanks all friends!

Yes,the render style isn`t the true 3d render effect.
for the first one picture,I render 3times.Illustrate no material for the top layer(out line),default scanline no material for the middle layer(mian bright\shadow)and the brazil car paint for the bottom layer(color).

mikewebb\Riptyde:
what you said is a true trouble,I will make some change. Thanks~
