View Full Version : Character: Panzer Cop (Jin-Roh)
aenema 03-21-2003, 11:41 PM well I wasnt exactly sure what to call this character, whos concept is from a Japanese movie called "JIN-ROH!". so don't ask me anything about the movie or history of the character, because i don't know :) I saw some pictures of some "Panzer Cop" action figures, which were from the movie jin-roh, and I thought the character was really cool so I couldnt resist making one of my own. The meadow in the background is the only thing that is not cg, it's just a picture I tweaked a little. this one is a lot more beat up then the action figure:

why hasn't anyone replied to this? i like it! for some reason, the red lenses are a little too bright i think. they need to have some depth to them, like glass. They look too 2d. Try to get them to look like really thick glasses, but with a little darker red. nice job :)

thanks! :) I took your suggestion and have darkened the lenses, and added some spec to them, I think they look a lot better this way. changed the pic up above, it should be the new one ^
suggestion: even if i like your texturing i can't stop citicize you.
look at the bolts on the shoulder armor..... those thinks should have been the firt things that would have lose their paint, or even be torn a little (if u obeserve in nature, usually the most exposed parts are scratched)

Hi,
Something doesn't seem quite right about the picture.
I'm not sure wat it is. maybe it's the lack of contrast or highlights.
the character just don't seem to really stand out from the background.
