Hello All :wavey:

This is a project that Ive been working on for a little while now, it all started with the tree in the foreground, which was made with lofts, and particle systems for the leafs and apples. Then it development into more of a scene. The image was made in 3ds max 5, scatter was used for the grass which really slows down the rendering process, heavilly. the trees in the background are instances of a map of the original tree to save on memory and processing time, thank goodness for opacity maps!!:applause:

Anyway, please let me know what you think, C+C is always welcome and appreciated, I can only get better!
Thanks

eden? just thought it might be cus of the snake. it's looking really good . since the apple is taking up so much picture space, maybe you should make it more interesting, add more detail. blah blah blah...

not bad, but the foreground doesn't mix with the background very well... the grass is beautiful, but the apples look cartoony, my suggestion would be to up the poly count and bitmap quality of the apples, just my opinion...

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to have to make a run to the store today to purchase an apple so that I can have a better refrence rather then just images from the net.
Ill have to llok at the apple but I think they may have a slight textured surface to them maybe if I add a slight bumb map to the surface that will help witht he belevability.
I really like how the grass turned out as well, just wish my computer was a little faster.

Thanks again, Keep em coming!
