Title: Kallidryas
Name: Valri Viala
Country: Canada
Software: Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush

This is my most recent personal 3D character. He is part frog, part man. He is a lone wanderer type character, although who knows maybe I will make him a mate one day.

I made him to put on my reel about almost a year ago but I got a job before I got my reel done. I recently played around in Maya to get this render using Mental Ray and an SSS skin shader. I am pretty happy with it.

Well I hope you like it!

Hi Valri. Cool character...The texture work is impressive and the modelling is even better. I'd love to see him in a scene, maybe on a trek up a mountain or something :)

He looks so lonely :( Excellent work though :D:D

The physique of these guys look like my 80 year old father without his shirt on. Blech...

That being said, the modeling is wonderful!
