View Full Version : Accessing a full row of a matrix

Hi all,

I would think that this would work:

matrix $bla [2][3];

and then to access a single full row:

$bla [2][:] or $bla[2]
or $bla [2][1:3]

What I want to do is to assign another vector to a row of my matrix.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

So...can this even be done? Anyone? Thanks ; )

no, I don't think so, the first and last are available in python as slicing, but the wildcard can't be used that way to index an array, but I have seen it used in a command like

float $array[]=`getAttr pSphere1.vrts["*"]`;

but that is a method, not a simple operator.....at least that is my rational.
