View Full Version : Car paint material + bumpmap

I am wondering if there is posible to add a bump map to the standard car paint material? (mental ray)
If so, where do i put it?
I am trying to mix it with Multi/sub object material with a uvw modefier so i can controll the bump map which will be a logo.

I can't believe I've been using this material for 6 months and not noticed that there isn't a bump map slot. The only thing I would suggest is to use a blend material and control the bump in the second material slot. Although this would only work if the logo isn't another mental ray carpaint material.

Wasn't there something like a Material to Map wrapper in mr? If so, try using it with the car paint shader for the color and add a bump in a mr material.
