View Full Version : RealFlow to XSI
bramley1 03-21-2003, 04:02 PM Hi
Ive created my particles in RealFlow, imported them into XSI. In OpenGL view they play fine.
But when I render, it just renders a bounding box around all of the particles
Anyone got any ideas?

try turning reflections and refractions off.
if this fixes it it means that the Ptype's rendertree setup is dead and buried.
in that case (assuming you are using blob shapers for the particles) try this:
get the Ptype rendertree, in the shading properties (cloud's PPG) turn off apply shading.
get a raytracing/reflection diffuse node
plug it into the blob's color.
there you go.
if you want refractions too mix up a refl and refr diffuse shaders with a mix2clr and plug that.
