hi, im tryna set up some morph targets. I was wondering if there's any way that I can set them up using my low res model and then convert them to my high res model. So far it aint working. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
Thx mark battista

Morpher works by taking the vertex number of the original model, and moving it to coincide with the morph target. If the vert count changes in anyway, the numbers will be reasigned, and thusly, the morpher modifier will send verts to the wrong point.

If morpher is below meshmooth, however, there should be no problem.

Can you elaborate on your problem more?

ive got a character that ive used nurms subdivision on when modelling. I duplicate the character at high res and then set up a morph target. I capture my original model in its state in channel one, move to channel 2 and alter the vertices for my morph. Go back to the morpher and try and pick object from scene. It wont allow me to pick the duplicated object. They both have the same number of vertices. However if I have my characters in there lowest geometry setting, it works. If I even try it with one iteration of subdivision it doesnt.
Sorry this is hard to describe
thx mark

just use the meshsmooth modifier and not the epoly nurms toggle :)
