Strange Behavior (Illustration) Entry: Artur Sadlos

I have 2 ideas for pic

1. Running scene.

Angry mechanic is chasing bandit robo thiefs. They had stolen from him lots of stuff from his garage (to repair and upgrade themselvs;). Mechanic is thin guy with big monkey wrench. Very mad:D skeetch for that is in upper right corner

2. Mechanic doctor

There is lil broken malfunctioning robo. mechanic is pro known in neighborhood. he has a band of his robo hospital guys. some sort of traveling hospital. also on scene theres few worried characters (family, observes etc.)

i relly dunno whitch scene to choose. still considering

I like both ideas, like them a lot in fact, however I don't think that either fit well with the "strange behaviour" idea of the challenge.

Though who knows what I will think down the line.

Also I love your concepting. Man that is my favorite part of this challenge is the concept stage.

I agree, second sketch was golden. Reminds me a bit of 'monkey girl' from jonny duddle. (duddlebug.co.uk if I remember correctly) I say go with that- the behaviour is strange enough!

Great sketches - but I really like the one from post #5 the dynamic motion and the scale of the robots is great. The little ones made me laugh. His pose is great - looks like he is really going to whomp them and not fix them. In the last sketch the onlooker has the option of well is he going to fix them or kill 'em....in my opinion.

hah , if I were the mechanic I wouldn't trust the bots . The idea of putting in front the little innocent robot is really suspicious . For sure the big ones want to cheat the mechanic by this little sweet robot with white flag. But , seriously man , this is a very proffesional and charismatic piece of work , respect.

ashiataka - :) night by night when im after my daywork im rendering this pic. just love to do that. in fact if ill not finish it before challenge ends ill finish it after it anyway. i like this bots and that old mechanic. i cant letem be unfinished:)

THX11 - hehe. nice idea. i think they just afraid of that mighty power wrench and super mechanic skills. in angry mechanic hands wrench is deadly for any bot. lil or big daddy. samll onewas pushed by big ones. they r afraid and they sent weakest one. chickens!!!;)
