View Full Version : painter installation problem- Please help!
antonymuse 06-28-2007, 01:24 PM hi,
I have this doubt about installation of painter X.
I have been trying to install it in my system but it is not installing. I have tried many times to do it. what happens is that when it is in the process of installing there is this term called 'Stopping services' that comes up in the installer and everything just stands still after that. It freezes there for about 2 mins and then it says that it's about to abort. previously i had the trial version installed and had it removed once i got the full version. Now it says that the software already exists in my system but i have uninstalled everything. Once i even uninstalled other corel softwares i had in my system. But even then it didn't get installed.
Could anyone help me with this problem, because i want to get started with this version for i absolutely adored the trial version!!!
thanks in advance :)

I had the same problem and below is the response I received from Corel support (who were very helpful). To be absolutely sure, I would wait to hear from someone here who is more knowledgable than me but needless to say...it worked.
