Hello again. This is my very rough sketch of idea. This time I'm going to concentrate more on the movie rather then a still, so final image will probably be a highres stylized frame of an animation maybe even a poster type image.
Anyway the movie will take around 1-2 minutes. The overall layout will probably evolve hardly in my progress. But the main idea will probably not :)
This is a post-processed 3D by the way.

Beautiful first step here - already some nice shapes and colors. so what's the story?
Looking forward to see your progress here.

Futuristic looking isnít it? Great work with the lighting in the background the glow from behind the floating wall section is a nice feature it adds drama to the scene. I like the little floating key shape tot eh right, and Iím curious as to what significance it holds if any at all.

DaddyMack: Thanks man, lately I felt so tired. But now with this challenge I feel so inspired, it makes feel alive again

Gunilla: Thanks, it's a story about a trapped soul into the cyber body. A soul who cruelly betrayed a men who was in love with her. Now his love became hatred and he keeps her as a prisoner in a lonely room where every day for her fades away.
My movie will show an episode where she gets an opportunity to escape. Seems like someone (or maybe she self) tries to hack the system. I want to make this whole process freak and someway scary.
BTW currently I'm experimenting and making sounds which will be used in the scene.

lemasterjg: Yeah, I'm mad about futuristic interiors. Not that I'm expert or whatever creating them, but I really like them.

This is a shading test. I like to experiment on shading, even on a very rough model, it helps me to visualize better on what I'm creating.

Hi, some progress, strated to rig around :) so to make all modeling process more logic. Using cguploader for flv upload, so check out the animation, if I uploaded it correctly :)

Sorry for slow progress, I have a lot of other works now, so really busy. But since I really feel inspired with this, I just won't quit :). I'll have to finish this until september, because after that I'll probably won't have time at all.

Nice Modeling

I hope you don't loose to much time in all that detail. Unless you are gonna make a big render for the illustration section, i think we won't be able to see much of it.

I hope the texturing will get a little interesting cause a clean robot just isn't all that fun ;-)

Ouuh I sense something potentially disturbing in this project! Can't wait! :)
The close up of the robot's profile is already very nice. Mixes beauty and robotics in such a cold and uncomfortable way.
Yum!

looks great, ,man! ;D
could you show us front view? :)

I hope the texturing will get a little interesting cause a clean robot just isn't all that fun ;-)

There will be some textures to make it look a bit "used", but it won't be all rusty and stuff. She has to have an "expensive" look. It's an important part of concept. "Precise torturing"

DeadSquirrel Yes! You've descibed it exactly as I want to express it, thank you :D

Paul-M Thanks, yup, you'll see it after I'll finish first half :)

Very interesting work so far.

I am a bit confused about the concept. What do you plan to show as the "Strange Behavior"? If the strange behavior is from the man holding her prisoner...how will you depict this in the final animation?

The video is cool. I did notice however that there are some intersecting pieces in the rear of the head, but I'm sure you realize this and will correct it. :D

Paul-M Thanks man :D

Nothingness Yup you can do that, here is the link:
http://wiki.cgsociety.org/index.php/Help:CGUploader
You will find here all you need to upload animation

Jedi-Juice When you will see the final, you'll understand what's strange about it :)
About the intersecting, yeah I know, behind head, I'll fix that later.

gpepper Thanks, you'll see it

maksy thanks :)
