Thanks for the comments all!
Reflexx: I just finished up class 4, and I'm taking the summer session off because my brain needs the break. So I'm hoping to pick it back up in the fall and finish out my last 2 classes, which means I would finish sometime around March '08.
Bhunt: I haven't had any acting classes prior to AM.
Thanks again everyone =)

Hey man! Great job! Looks like you did an extra dialogue piece as well. Thats great, are you finishing out the curriculum and making the short film or have you already been picked up somewhere? I just finished class 1 and will be starting class 2 in a week or so. Gluck with everything!
ZAP!

first clip, good animation overall, some bad cuts timing wise and some weak camera compositions.
second clip, too much animation also known as over-animated, hands do too much action and take away attention from face, some ease in-out pops. remember in subtle acting shots, less is more
chess clip, pretty good, only issue is when he's putting the piece down on the board, it's done in a boring way, remember your action should be entertaining, i would have looked for a more inspiring way to do that, maybe he brings it down slowly and then drops in down, or holds it in the air and slams it on the board, etc.
pole jumping clip, pretty good overall, some arcs and spacing hicups, and could have used more contrast in timing, meaning more hang time in the air and faster fall downs
wet paint clip, lack of weight when he's sitting on bench, poses could have been pushed more, specialy the antic pose for the take. some overshoot would have made the whole thing stronger
last clip, probably your best physical test, some squash and stretch issues, but really minor stuff, some spacing problems, and it also could have used more contrast in timing. also could have hold the antic pose before the jump more and again pushed it more to give more force to the jump, nice silouhettes in poses.
overall i think your body mechanics is pretty good, i'd suggest you do some weight lift test, or a sledge hammer test. pantomime skills were above averange but would need improvement and your weakness is in your acting, specialy with dialouge.
good luck
