Hi Folks
i had an idea recently for a modelling plugin (for Maya) where the user draws the model in the top, front and side views and then the plugin creates the 3d version of the model (or a close approximation) and displays it in persp view
does anyone know if a similar Maya plugin or other modelling program exists already? or has anyone tried doing something like this and has any advice?
I thought it might be useful for creating prototype models or a rough concept where there isn't the time or need for a very detailed and accurate model.
any thoughts?
