Dear friends,

I am a beginner in the 3D Max. I am having a problem that i hope somebody can help me.

I am doing a animation with rolling a ball in a room, the animation is generated by the keyframes (from 1 to 200) to show every image of the ball rolling from start point to the end.

My problem is, how can i show all the ball images (from first keyframe to the end) in one screen, so when i print it out, we can see the direction and path of the ball moving?

need for the help, because i need to print it out for the assignment.

Thanks,

:annoyed:

This is pretty much covered in the tutorials and manuals. Hell, it's even in the online help (what isn't? ). But I'll give this one out as a freebie..

1) Select the ball

2) Open the trajectory panel

3) In the Spline Conversion section, hit the Convert From button

wholla!

You wont get a bunch of clones of your object, instead you'll get a spline in the shape of your path.

Hi,

go to Tools Menu. Select snapshot.
In the snapshot popup select range and put 1 to 200 and then hit ok.

This will create a mesh of the ball in it's position on each frame.

Cheers

Or give the ball an extra self illumination and use a camera blur of 200 frames and render frame 100. Make sure to set the blur to 200 samples. This will give a quite transparant ball, however.
