Dinner was delicious, as always, when his mum cook. Dessert even better, as he loves - chocolate cake with vanila cream. He wished to sit for longer, but the time for bed was comming inevitably. Delaying as possible finally he left the table and climbed stairs...

Suddenly he heard tedgy's scream. He knew that something was going really wrong...

hey, I like the angle and lighting possibilities in the image!
It proboably will be hard but the concept must really emphasize whats going on, is it a monster that kicks his teddy or another toy doing the kicking? However somethings gone terribly bad ;)
Are you aiming more for scary or panic?

Will have a look on this thread in the future!

Keep it up. 90+ days to go!

Thanks Ligo for your comment.

Other toy is an arlekin, definitelly with devilish twist, disasebling defenceless teddy. Whole action will be broken by a boy, possibly with mixture of suprise and anger, who at the end of day rules this room. Still some time to go :)

Thanks,

Ah ok, wasn't familiar with the term arlekin but now i know, sounds good with surprise and anger! Will be good to se how the strange behavior takes form. Is it the "doll" that is behaving strangely by living or being evil? As said before, looking forward to seeing this take shape.

see you around

hi! Can't wait to see the development! I like the angle!
Sometimes, A child does strange thing without his consciousness. That's what happened to my baby cousin. He broke his toy and managed to fix it back by himself. It doesn't sound strange in words, but if you get to see the toy, it's UNbelieve-able!!

Surprise us with some unexpected element!!

Good luck! =D

PS. the toy is a ... ... ... (i made the story up myself. lol) =DDD

Good start krpolak. You may want to try and get some more surprise and panic into the pose of the child at the door, at the moment he looks too calm.

Thanks guys for comments. It has been a while... :)

I decided to redo few things. First crop the image. Shelf on the left didnt contribute to the image much, still I will leave a hint there so it can indicate children room. Secondly I changed perspective and pose of the pierot. I think that works better now. I might do some extra adjustment to the pose yet.

I will take care about the boy later. As I said I am going to make him angry with whole situation, but since he is locked in door area I can play with his pose and facial expression later.

Next I would like to work on mood and introduce some colour.

Quick update on characters. I think now situation is clear: angry boy, plotting and playing innocent arlekin and teddy bear victim. I will stick to that.

I decided roughly on colour scheme and tweak slightly arlekins' texture.
