In the park nearby there is a very similar construct, made from pots sitting on a log and tending to a smaller plant. He is growing his very own friend, ever patiently nurturing the young plant.

wow, i like the idea, also the sketch has a great style, a living plant taking care of his son/friend or whatever!
maybe the little plant could be somewhat sick or so, to emphasise the general feeling, but that rather depends on what you exactly want to tell...however great Sketch
I will keep an eye on this

I really like the idea and you're obviously an excellent painter. You really have a good sense of character in the pot mans pose.
The only problem I have with it is that I would assume his friend would grow into an actual plant, not a bunch of potted plants like him. Is that his plan, because it seems he himself is made up of very small plants. Personally I don't know how a concept of a potted plant man growing and adding more pots would look, but if you can make this work I'd love to see more.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Blocked out the scene to determine were things like trees, bushes and grass might go.

killer-instinct93, if I have to guess I'd say that The original Pot Plant man started out in a single pot, as he grew his roots broke through the bottom of the original pot, at wich point a new pot was added for the roots to grow in ( he would have needed help to to this...maybe by some gardner or older pot plant uncle or something).
Thinking about it, it could be nice to have some pots in the backround.

I like the idea also, but thought you can work on it yet, it have more capacities to get deeper in concept! althought it's deep enough right now! but anyway! just a thought!
for example what it whould mean if you put a cactus on mr.pot head instead of a flower?!
Again it's really great right now, so keep good works coming and don't mind atall about me!:scream: it really works just now for me!
