View Full Version : TP Softbody Library Object ready for download
Per-Anders 03-20-2003, 10:55 PM Hi, just thought some of you guys migh be pleased to know that thanks to some of the new abilities in 8.1 i've now made a Thinking Particles Softbodies library object, just drag and drop the softbody and a copy of it into the links on the object and away you go. Easiest if you put it in your library->Objects folder for quick access through the objects menu.
This version allows you ot use a vertex map to control how soft or rigid your object will be at any one point. It will only work on editable objects.
get it here from teh library section:

He is a genius - however I'm not so sure he's a geneous or a genious.
Sorry to correct - it was bugging me ;)
Thanks for keeping us supplied with supercool stuff Per.

Thank you so much, Sadie. I´m very interested in using softbody-features, but I´ve been not very busy with TP until now. For a TP beginner like me, just one small example file would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Gunter

First off thanks for the freebie softbody thingy.
Pretty damned cool.
Secondly, I was wondering if it could be used in conjunction with bones?
And if so, how?
Thanks again

I like it.... but I'm not sure of an application just yet!! Is it just for using wind to blow a sphere around?
Metaball oceanwave with vertex maps??:buttrock:

damn being a cinema user at the moment is so damn cool...with the release of r8 development seems to have just skyrocketed into outer space...its so damn cool the amount of work all you developers have been putting in....especially those like per who have been giving/sharing those efforts with the whole c4d community.
well done...and thank you.
