the idea is really great :)
the modeling is good, except the hands, the foot and the head :)
i think u need to work more on those parts, make it more organic, less sharp !

I agree with trying to get it less boxy looking in parts. But maybe try reducing the polys down to a proxy and get the shape right, then add more detail.
