Is the openGL hardware support new? I recall the v8 demo being sluggish when I tried to rove around the Beetle scene.

v8.1 flies! Or did I just miss the setting previously?

I love Lightwave but boy...C4D is pretty damn spiffy. Honestly the only other 3D app that I find myself trying to justify purchasing.

Lessee...if I sell 8 pints of blood and don't eat for 6 months I should have enough. Can C4D XL Bundle perform CPR if I pass out from lack of nutrition? :p

The OGL is not new, but the hardware lighting in the OGL preferences is new, and on newer cards you can experience dramatic speed increase over c4d's standard OGL speed.

I'm really disappointed with the example files ... and no help files ( I can live without that ) ... but example files are crucial to make good impression any one knows of some example scenes to download ?
