well, finally go the concept down pat...based on Mark Snoswell's "Battle Bunny"...its supposed to be the reflection on a soldier's visor of the incoming BUNNY OF DEATH!!!!
that out of the way, any comments would be most appreciated!

hehehe... sounds good to me.

sorry, been a bit slow to come up with ideas....here's another, please tell me what you guys think of it!
St George, the dragon and the beerman

actually, i think i might just settle for the battle bunny idea instead :P

Oh, and thanks digital bolbert for the comment! sorry i left it so late!!

I absolutely love the BUNNY OF DEATH. It is hilarious, I'm still laughing. The St.George, the dragon, and the beerman idea looks pretty good, but I'd have to see some more of it. It would be kind of cool if you combined the two into St.George and the beerman fighting the BUNNY OF DEATH.

thanks man! i was really tending towards the battle bunny idea....slightly because I made up the other one in desperation for ideas :P. anyhow, thanks for the comment!
Hey Alan, very nice ideas. I like a lot the "bunny of death" concept:thumbsup:
St George, the Dragon and the Beerman sounds good, with many posibilities :)
Good luck and looking forward for updates!

finally! time to work on this! anyhow, here's my lineart. For those of you new to this concept, its an adaptation of the inspiration story 'Battle Bunny"
please please please give me some feedback!!

tried the lines again because I wasn't happy with the last one...so I based this on the concept sketch, which I liked quite a lot. I usually use lineart as a guide anyhow, so here we go! please comment on this!

Glad you stuck with the Battle Bunny idea it seems the better of the two to me. Looking good so far. I feel you have lost to much of the hand in the last sketch. This hand I am assuming is sheilding the guy as his last hope almost. I liked the hand in the image before but it cut across to much of the frame. If you could get a combination of both so that it does not cut into the bunny but looks like it is right there in frame sheilding the guy. Not much of a sheild, considering the battle bunny is good kick his ...
Anyway keep it up can;t wait to see more. I also liked all the chaos around the bunny in your intial sketch, Will you be putting something like this into the final.
Hi bluemattersoda, you gotta love them those crazy bunnies, for inspiration you should check out some cool artwork from Sam & Max. Max is a real funny nasty looking bunny. :) Maybe you can show more of the hands and the suit in your image so you really see that the guy with the helmet is scared because the reflection is going to cover up the expression of the guy his face. Or you could make the bunny more bigger in the reflection to get a better idea what is going on. Hope my advice helps your image
Hey Alan, nice sketches man! I like the "bunny of dead" idea, the concept have a great potential. :D I think the extended hand , not over the helmet, can work better ( like your notebook sketch) and maybe a more open scene showing the two hands, only a comment :)
Again, good work !!

thanks all for dropping by! i really do appreciate the support, and from all your comments, I now know where to work on the sketch.
Ferx: thanks man! THe bunny idea was actually from one of the inspiration stories, so I can't take all the credit for the idea :P I think i'm allowed to base it on that...But yeah, the problem i had with the notebook idea was that the hand didn't seem 'desperate' enough to me, though here the hand obviously doesn't show as much....I'll work on that. Thanks for dropping by!
blok: Wow, I actually didn't notice the bunny size...thanks for pointing that out - i'll be making it a bit larger later. And true, I agree with the hand how it should come out some more...and I enjoy drawing armour, so i will take your advice and exposing more of the armour! Thanks for dropping by! (ps, i'll check out the sam and max refs now)
darth: true, that other idea I conjured up in desperation of having no ideas...:P I tried to get rid of some of the hand, but I have to agree, i lost too much of it. I tried to increase the angle, so it didn't look like he was waving at the bunny like it does in thenotebook sketch, but more of one of those cliche movie moments when the guy who's about to cop it covers his face before the explosion....thanks for dropping by man! oh, btw, i wil be putting some of that chaos in later, but i didn't draw it in....well, not sure why i didn't :P

Sweet idea haha! I like the battle bunny. Are they on another planet? It'd be rather strange to find an alien specimen so similar to our own. Hehe.

hey Yihyoung, thanks for dropping by! as for your question, I based the piece on one of the inspiration stories on the Strange Behaviour entry page....basically some guy decides to go to war in a bunny suit, and I thought it would be funny to take it seriously, from the opposition's view haha!
08-17-2007, 05:38 AM
I see haha! I have to start my own piece now. I'm not sure what I should do hehe...Mmm. :D
