hey guys n gals :D
i did some silouettes today to get a bit of a feel for the challenge.
my idea is to explore the mind and the life of a mad puppeteer maybe puppeteering fish . somehow im obsessed with the idea of having fish in my paintin.
the other thing i will do a sketch in later will involve some vampire gals, a mirror and some cats and a weird room.
thank you all for the warm welcome :d
more replies tomorrow.... soooo tired.
Hey Britta, mhhhhm fish ...that sounds good! Dunno i cant get sheep out of my head ... so i understand you with your fish :)

thank you for the welcome everybody :D
great to see so many familiar faces round here :D
from today on i will finally be able to get started on the challenge, before that i had exams and some other deadlines i needed to meet :D
i did some brainstorming with myself tonight and ruled the puppeteer idea out because it realy involved the flying air fish but ive seen too many of them around, i might make a painting out of the idea but not for this challenge. or maybe i get a different idea while exploring the puppeteer further. we will see.
i do have 3 other ideas in my mind with different levels of strangeness as i think of strange.
1. one deamoness on kinda throne getting her nails done and other deamons attending to woman things maybe or doing other things hmmm
2. 3 vampire chicks in elaborate dresses playing with the cutest little kitties and not being fierceful at all
well these are rather dull i think but somehow all goes for stragne behavior here. i guess being a deamon or a vamp can be counted as strange from the beginning but.....
3. my 3rd one is my most seriosu idea, it evolves out of the thought of behavior --> society and the way we all interact and what is considered weird in our society. sometimes telling people the plain truth is considered a grave insult and strange behavior.
i will work on sketches tonight and see what comes out of it.
im open for suggestions and feedback :D
cheers!

I really like the second concept. Oooh...you know what would be good? One of your sombre women playing with a really light hearted toy. Like a musical jack-in-the-box or a balloon...

great poses for the puppeteers.
being fond of puppetry i think you should revisit that idea, perhaps in a recursive manner.
the puppeteer controls a marionette who contols a hand puppet who controls a shadow puppet who controls a marionette that controls a rod for a rod puppet that is of course the puppeteer.
or more simply a puppeteer with a "giant puppet" backpack style, that controls a marionette that has rod that contol the puppeteer.
just a thought.
and of couse your fish could fit in anywhere in the circle.
good luck and enjoy.
