CGTalk - Painting: My father

My dad is going to kill me for making his partially-naked body a piece of artwork, so enjoy this until he finds out:

A little info on how it was made: It's a 6 hour freehand drawing made from a reference photo. The full resolution is 2272x1704. I used Newtek Aura 2 and here's the original photo:

Good recreation of the photo, but it,s too realistic for me, I prefer with more artistic brushes and more shadows.

The right side of his face looks off a bit in your painting. Look at the lips, they tend to curve down where as in the ref pic, they don't. Other than that, looks good.

DrakeX, you should post a picture of your father... now you've got me spooked too. My dad has two twin brothers who are twins of each other, but now you've got me thinking that he also has a twin of himself wandering around parenting DrakeX's...
