Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to tell me if an effect I've been trying to achieve is possible in PainterX or possibly suggest another program.
In real life, when you drop one colour paint into another (say blue into yellow), there are effects that are produced that I haven't been able to emulated with software. RealFlow does a wonderful job with liquid simulation, and painter has great mixing capabilities, but I haven't seen anything that produces the almost growing tenticle like effect that you would see when one color of paint or ink hits another. Liquid Ink seems to allow a drop placed on another drop to spread out on the color underneath it, and you can use distortions to create swirls and such - but this still isn't like what really happens when one colour ink or pain meets another.
Is there anyone that can give me some direction or suggest a method in Painter that might lead me in the right direction?
Thank you.
Pazz
