Has anyboy seen Autodesk newest series for Maya on Animation Friendly rigging for Maya.

Have anyone used its rigging principles in messiah?
Jason has a great explanation on rotation order and solving, is this something that messiah can duplicate (easily) for the rigging pros.

actually i just came home from my friends company. I modeled, rigged and animated a character for nickelodeon in one day ;) should be on TV shortly.

Rigging in maya is not quite the same as messiah but its close in many ways. I like to use inherit root and inherit end alot in messiah and i dont think maya has an analogue, but then again i just use the spline IK in maya with aim constraints and in some ways it works even better then messiah. Plus there are also really handy ways to collect all the animatable channels into character sets to really speed up keyframing. i also like how you can lock and hide channels you arent animating. really makes it clean and fool proof. I did take a small gander at the materials you mentioned but i havent really done any proper research as far as trying to replicate my setups in messiah. because i approach rigging different in messiah anyway and i like it that way. Armatures really change things drastically to a point where if you do it messiahs way you really dont need to emulate maya.
