Title: Garden of Neglect
Name: Creath Carter
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, mental ray, Photoshop

This is a simple scene I created to practice higher poly modelling while rendering with Mental Ray, both of which I'm not very experienced with.
I wanted to create something subtly thought-provoking, but not containing some overbearing message, so draw what you will from the imagery and enjoy!

Thanks for looking!

Hi Artician...
very nice work! the textures are really good....
The only thing i can say is about the dof..., i think its too blurred..., the mid distance has the same blur as the background objects...
Just a composition detail....
The models and textures are very good!

Hey cool bike. I like the textures. I think you should tone down the DOF though...too much tends to make a scene look like a miniature, as if someone took a photo of a dollhouse.

Good texture work AND a nice model! Is the right back wheel broken?

nice image, very good use of colortone and textures, biut i have to agrre with the DOF thing, also its look as the tile behind the bicycle are also completed blurred out, which shouldnt be like this, the progression of blurring should be linear not, equal at all sides.
good luck
