CGTalk - Rotoscoping in Maya

I found this tutorial to rotoscope in Maya. Is a bit of a pain and for a older version.

Does anyone knows a beter and easy workflow to rotoscope in Maya 8.5? Maybe a plug-in or some other trick to do the magic.

I am not sure what you wish to acheeve but rotoscoping in maya is something Iwould not do - instead use a program that has the functions and capabilaties to produce proper Roto. Apple Shake, Digital:Fusion, just google rotoscoping software and you will get more...
