View Full Version : Making my 3D look hand drawn
stuf123 03-20-2003, 05:32 AM I am trying to make my 3D have the look of being hand drawn. I have seen it done before but now I can't seem to find any examples or how to do it in 3D Studio Max 5. If anyone can help me on this is would be great!

Are you talking about cel shading?
You can get some cool cel renderers for Max like Cartoon-reyes (by Reyes-Inforgrafica) and Illustrate! :)

Thank you Leigh! The NPR1 is exactly what I am looking for. I want to make it look like a sketch comes to life. That look like it does the trick. Now I wish I had money!

Get Brazil R/S ... it has a nice toon shader built in, and plus, you are going to get the best max renderer there is.
Brazil R/S can be found here (http://www.splutterfish.com)
