That's pretty cool, I really like it :)

The model looks cool so far, I just think that perhaps the torso tapers in just a little too much.

It would be cool to model lots of feathers and things hanging off him, just to add to the whole shamanistic vibe :)

Thanks leigh, Your right about the torso im working on this...I dont know about the feathers maybe One or two but much of them because Its a sort of necromencer its a bad guy, I think the principe of a shaman is to be in peace with nature and gods, but mine is more evil . but I will add some fur and bones and i want to give an outfit full of scorched drapery...

Bye!

i don't loke the antlers.

if he is a bad guy why are his eyes blue(he look kinda inocent to me). an a suggestion make his eye black... all of it.

that is all for now

For the eye...its like that because I have a generic pair of eyes the one i put in my model but yeah ist a good idea Black eye! thanks!

Looking Good,

I was expecting something a bit moore heavy metal body builder from you, i'm very glad you went for that almost skiny caracter. I wonder what you intend to do whit the boots...Personnaly i would go for somthing dirty ant aged whit years of walking and hiding ine a fancorn like forest...Concerning the eyes, someone mensioned that blue wasn't the good color...I disagree, i think the blue add somthing ambigous and troubling...like some kind of charming ugliness...
Anyway it's an opinion... But i definitively agree whit squeeze, We want moore!

See ya

Hi everyone, im currently on the texturing process of my shaman Please leave a comment or a suggestion

Looks great so far, my only crit is that the chest plate and the gloves have a high specularity, making it look like plastic.
Also, give us a bigger view of the head,.. from here it kinda looks like he has a black eye.. Yes texturing the head is the hardest part I know. Good luck and keep this up. I want to see it animated one day! :D

Martyr

Hi diffuse, Its not a black eye...its a kind of "handly ceremonial painting"I not sure i will animate him...But its sure that he will be boned... to give him a better position

It is a good beginning for textures. I think that you should more emphasize detail for the cape, one wonders whether it is in skin where out of leather.Bon, je te parle un peu en français because my english are "just little" sorry..

no need to be shy about it i think its a great model.
On the texture side i would make a recomendation of going for a more pourish skin look, than the hardened plastery look it has now (in the bumps)

besides that it looks great

I love it man, keep up the good work :)
I think you should add a staff of some kind, making something like sauran(SP?) in LotRs?

larger antlers, remove the metal, add some feathers and add a rattle to his belt

also btw. The skull hat/cap. I think you should add some scratches/cracks minor ones, and add some sort of dirt map to it. Make it look like it is in use. Wear and tear etc.

Even if you didnt change any of that stuff it wouldbe /is a great modela nd very refined and well done textures. =)

For the bump map - somthing like that dino that was doen in the lighting rendering challenge would work - a broader bump map that's blured and then the one you have there- it seems like the wrinkles are thinly slicy his face as opposed to folds.

Also coloring his scalp hair color, somthing to offset the symetry of his shoulders (or waste) some color in hs mouth, and maybe some more detail for eyelids ;) Looks really creativce and has a great character to it - do with my comments what you may!!!

Excellent work man, nice progress...
Bonne continuation!

I understands the cape better now. For the fur on the level of the shoulders I find that it misses "volume" too regular with my taste. If not for the bump you should refine your features where to make a map larger bump and include there the veins to have a little relief.

Very good Mart!

i like very much the patchs on the robe and the colors. But if i may, i would maybe have the horns made of black wood... and MORE DIRT, espacialy whit the shoulder pieces, they seem brand new... whit the horns and the arm pieces, i would add marks, like if he had recived hits on them and whit the skulls too. And to finish, the skin seems very clean... it would gain a lot of realisim whit age spots, like your palpatine head, and again, DIRT, according to me he must not baith very often... so that's it them. and don't get me wrong, i think it's great, i'm only giving my view to make it creapyer...hihihi

see ya then...
