Hi :) ok, this is it, I'm not that good of a modeler but... might as well give it a shot and learn something :)
It still needs a lot of work and I need to think of some kind tool to put in his hand but I'm working on it,

Yes, you are right about the vest, I'm working on it, thanks :) I,ll add more details on the entire character as well, hands feet ooops! I mean foot ;) and face :)

Hi guys, take a look at those 2 new render, the character has evolved a bit... this is probably the final render i'll post, I have lots of other stuff to do...like... find a job ;) so....

Ahh I seem to be the only one w/ out a spoon/ weapon :eek: Really inventive stuff, one thing I can say is that no one really came up with the same Ideas like a couple of people feared.
El Gatto, perhaps tweek his chest so it is not so symetric, other than that, its great.

Maybe you can add some details to the face....
You're using Maya... well if you don't know Connect Poly Shape, get it ! It's a cool modeling script with toolbars, etc.

Hey El Gatto;
that's another really cool character! I like your model, the competition is this challenge is fierce!
This one is a little bit different: not viscious looking, but he doesn't really have a happy face either..? Kinda sad looking if you ask me... which suggests that he's got alot of personality = great modelling!
Keep it up, I want to see more...!

Epatnor, you might be right, hummmmm he does look kind of sad, I never looked at him this way... thanks for your comments and I'll try to show new stuff soon but I'm kinda out of ideas right now :(

I think pabloz is right, try to give it a shape more .... rounded.
For Cspolytools and Meshtools, it's the firs time I used them. I think these two sets of tools are very usefull to add details on a model. Of course, I don't use all the commands, only seven or eight, they give you a lot of control.
I' ve also find a method quasi equivalent to the cut of Maya (wonderfull tool). In Edge sublevel, you divide edges (like you would do with cut poly), this gives you the ability to turn round your model while cutting. When it's done, you toggle in vertex sub level and make a Meshtools Connect. And that's it.
Btw good job, you should add details on the clothes (creases,...).
