I hate recording to tape from an avi or video file, but in my particular case, it looks like I have little choice for a project of mine. I was wondering if anyone's done this before, or knows of a good compressor or cinepak compression settings that would get decent quality and resolution, without slowing down during a hi-res (720x 328/480) playback, of about 3 minutes? Can anyone suggest a good method?
Or better yet, does anyone know of any software that can playback sequenced images without compressing them into a video file like an avi or quicktime? I'm thinking along the lines of a pvr station's software, but that stuff's hard to find. :mad:
