Hey guys,

this is some kind of golem I did yesterday. Various versions:

Modeled in Maya, rendered with default scanline render of 3ds max (all texture are procedural).

Any feedback?

thanks,

I like it...
The only comment I have, is about the seam in the middle, but you probably know that already and will fix it when modeling is done.

tnx for the reply!

off course the seam will be removed!...I used symmetry to merge the two halves and test the materials a little...but now I'll have to remove the seam.

Looking good so far...
What are your plans for this one?
Are you going to do the rest of his body? Animate him? Make him a part of a bigger scene?

well, I don't really know yet...I'm doing this in spare time...I'm really busy at the moment. I'm not an animator, so I'd exclude completely the chance to animate him for the moment. Maybe I'll finish the model and do some other test renderings, that' it.

thanks for the reply!
