Really Thanks for all your paises :) You have make me very happy

The model is completely original, I haven't use any tutorial, but the meshmooth process is in huge number of tutos. It could be :)

Unfortunately I haven't time for make a tutorial, but I can explain in a few lines how to do the material, because I think that the MeshMooth process is usually known.

That's is for MAX

1.- Create the object with the method that you want, and render with the "Box selected". A good resolution must pass the 1000 px.
2.- Open that image in Photoshop, or another good 2D editing program, and create various layers over it for the SPECULAR, the OPACITY and the BUMP. All in a grey palette.
3.- The SPECULAR layer is where the object is going to shine, or to reflect more the light. The white is where the shine is biggest, the black where there isn't any shine. For my fish all must be white except the tail, because the completely transparent areas (noexistent) mustn't produce any shine.
4.- The OPACITY layer is like the specular ones. White is opaque and black is transparent. My fish is completely white, except the tail fish bones. It must coincide with the specular for a good result. in this case I'll use the same image.
5.- The BUMP layer ir the most important. White is, as default, the optical upper part and the black the lower. You must set the original color to grey (128,128,128 or 808080). Aver that you can paint with white or black, and with different pressure and brushes.
6.- The mapping for my fish is planar, very simple.
7.- In MAX go to the Material Editor and in a new slot change the Diffuse color to a light blue (For example, 196,218,242). In the Diffuse color MAP choose the FallOff and edit the curve as you want. Do not change the white and black colors. Set this map to a 85%. Add a MAP for the Specular level, FallOff too, but the colors must be blue and dark blue. The map is set to 25%. Add a picture to the Specular Level, and select the image we did for this (opacity). Set it to the 20%, more or less (all that are the values I've put in my AnglerFish scene). In the Opacity map add an the same image that in the Specular, but this to the 100%. Do the same with the Bump map, but, logically with the bump image we did. Set the percentage to the 500. For a best result I suggested to use the Sampler.

I think that it's all.

Oh! Its VERY important to save the images made with Photoshop (or similar) in GIF, TGA, BMP, etc. format, because the JPG with the 500% bump is really bad.

At the end it is a tutorial!!!:surprised

NOTE: IF YOU WANT THE FILES OF THE "TUTORIAL" SEND ME AN E-MAIL AND I'LL SEND THEM TO YOU

Well... That's all folks! If you have any question, Here I am.:wavey:
